Coach: Gareth Southgate
Over 500 appearances a centre-back for Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. Southgate moved into management with Middlesbrough before being brought into the National team fold with the U21's. He was given the reins to the top job in 2016 and England appear to be benefiting from the continuity with the young players he had with him at U21 level.
"The fact that we've lost to both Croatia and Czech Republic is important for our mentality, because it would be easy to be complacent given we're at home, given we've also beaten these teams. But we know the quality that Croatia have, and we know that Czech Republic were hugely improved from when we played them at Wembley to when we played them in Prague." - Gareth Southgate
Key Player: Harry Kane
The Tottenham hitman continues to score goals at the highest level year after year. A little surprising this season with his assist count, particularly with strike partner Heung-min Son. Kane continues to lead the line for his country and is Southgate's captain and first name on the team sheet.

Uncapped by Croatia as a player, Dalic took the reins of the national side in 2017 and took them to the 2018 World Cup Final where they lost 4-2 to France.
"[Playing against England] it's going to be the same as in the semi-final of the World Cup, as well as the Nations League. I'm looking forward to that game. We'll play at Wembley, we'll kick off the championships in front of a full stadium. They're the favourites in our group and I've said before that they're a team taking huge steps forward, they bring football home. Our aim is to get through the group" - Zlatko Dalic

It's at Wembley again: we are going to try and get a abetter result than in qualifying. England and Croatia were both semi-finalists at the last World Cup. They are very strong teams.
