We want to come back to our base smiling. Monday will be one of the biggest days of my coaching career. I thank God that football gave so much to me and to my family. I am very glad that I can be involved at EURO 2020."

Poland Predicted Lineup

Szczęsny; Bereszyński, Glik, Bednarek; Jóźwiak, Krychowiak, Moder, Puchacz; Klich, Zieliński; Lewandowski.

Key Player: Robert Lewandowski

Lewandowski is Poland's most-capped player and all-time leading goalscorer. He is undoubtably one of the best strikers in the world today and continues to lead the line for German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Poles have quality in different areas of the pitch but Lewandowski is on a different level when compared to some of his fellow countrymen.

Poland v Slovakia Head to Head

Although these two sides have met eight times in total, this is their fifth competitive fixture. However, none of the past fixtures have been recent enough to consider important in the head to head stats, two friendly matches in 2012 an 2013 being the most recent encounters.

Poland v Slovakia Match Prediction

In a very tough Group E, Poland will be looking to get a maximum 3 points from this fixture. With Spain and Sweden waiting it is vital that Lewandowski and his countrymen claim victory here against the Slovakians, who will be seen by all as the whipping boys of the group.
