Netherlands π³π± Team News
The Oranje are making a return to the European Championship finals after missing out on Euro 2016. They looked an attacking threat in their opening fixture against Ukraine, but equally exposed at the back. So we should expect an entertaining encounter here against an Austrian side who also hit the net three times against North Macedonia.
Frank de Boer, Netherlands coach...
"Matthijs de Ligt will start. He has trained well in the last few days. He took part in everything, he is ready. When itβs that hot [30C], you don't need to press all the time but find other ways to create chances. Austria have been on the rise for many years. They have unity, and are very difficult to beat."
Netherlands Predicted Lineup
Stekelenburg; Dumfries, De Ligt, De Vrij, Blind, Wijndal; F de Jong, De Roon, Wijnaldum; Depay, Weghorst
Key Player: Memphis Depay
After a somewhat ordinary spell at Manchester United, Depay's move to French Ligue 1 side Lyon was just what the Dutchman needed. Β He has revitalised his career in France and is a key figure in a Lyon team challenging PSG for honours. He scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists in qualifying - more than any other player, meaning he was directly involved in 58% of Dutch qualifying goals.

Austria π¦πΉ Team News
This is the third appearance in a Euro's finals for Austria. The debuted as co-hosts at Euro 2008 and qualified for the first time in 2016. Austria came from a goal down against North Macedonia in their opening game and ran out 3-1 winners. The Netherlands are a different proposition entirely but the Austrian's will take confidence from their performance on Matchday 1.
Franco Foda, Austria coach...
"One thing is clear: we still need points to qualify for the round of 16. This is exactly what we need to keep doing; the boys won the [opening] game and made history."
Austria Predicted Lineup
Bachmann; Lienhart, Alaba, Hinteregger; Lainer, Laimer, Sabitzer, Grillitsch, Ulmer; Baumgartner, Kalajdzic
Key Player: Marko Arnautovic
Arnautovic spent a large part of his career in the top flight of English football with Stoke City and West Ham. Now plying his trade in China with Shanghai, he was the leading scorer for Austria in their qualifying campaign.
